I have no problem on a personal level with him expressing his opinion and stance, even if I do not agree with it. However, Thomas isn't making a wise decision to constantly express it while still being an "active" member of an NHL franchise. He seems like a sharp enough guy to know his actions affect both his career and the Boston Bruins, so I can't understand why he continues to spout off.
Wait until you actually retire, then you can say whatever you want, whenever and wherever you want.
