Nope... car payment only. I generalized when I said $500. It was somewhere between $450 and $500 per month. I don't remember teh exact figure... all I know is that by the time the loan was paid off he would be paying double the price of the vehicle.
At the time he went to the used car lot he was happy with the payment amount... but he didn't realize that he'd have to get full collision insurance to cover the loan amount and him being 22 years old and only driving for 1 year, his insurance would probably be crazy expensive.
Thats when he started getting scared.
