If Aaron Paul doesn't win that Emmy this year, it's an outrage. The scene he did a couple seasons ago, when he was in the support group, talking about the box he made in woodshop was one of the best scenes I've seen in a TV show.

Aaron Paul has had many memorable scenes, the one you noted was great. I thought he topped that one with the speech he made about "killing the dog" in the therapy session. That was unbridled desperation and despair. Amazing performance.

And to that, the scene he did tonight where he broke down about almost shooting Walt after he 'found' the 'ricin' in the Roomba broke my heart.
I must be dead inside, but personally I hate how we rate acting performances based on them doing really emotional, dramatic touchy-feel scenes. It's as if someone doesn't have some sort of emotional scene, they get no recognition. Honestly, as good as Aaron Paul is, I enjoy him most when he's more aloof and giving great one liners. It takes a lot of talent to pull that kind of spontaneity off.

Hank, Mike and Saul I think all give amazing performances. Saul Goodman is one of the most entertaining characters I've seen on tv in a long time. Why doesn't he deserve some award consideration? Because he doesn't have internal turmoil? Personally these 3 guys bring me back to the show more than any other character. Every time we get to a touchy-feely Jesse Pinkman moment, people start looking to give him awards.... and I start looking at my watch.

But like I said, I'm dead inside.
