They have them at Home Outfitters right now and I like the idea better than a portable air conditioner because of the way my windows are set up, it's trickier for me to put a vent hose out (I'd have to keep the blinds wide open which means glaring sunlight heating up the condo).
Plus, they look cool and can be cleaned easily. Looks as though they throw a lot of air around. I can keep the blinds closed and have this blasting air drawn from the outside through the condo to my back door. Thoughts? |
From the reviews I read online they do not throw a lot of air around. In fact, they suck.
Conventional fans have actually improved quite a bit over the last few years. Spend $50 or so on a good one and you should be set. They are more powerful and compact than they used to be.
