I'm a little late on this one. And I actually wanna talk more about season 4. See I missed all of season 4 and for some reason watched the first 6 episodes of season 5 when they originally aired and only had a chance to catch up on season 4 in the last week and now I can watch the rest of season 5 that I have on my PVR.
Few things:
I'm really enjoying the relationship between Peggy and Don. It seems there aren't a lot of true friendships on this show but I think they may have something. I just pray that it never gets romantic between them, that would ruin it.
The sight gag when his secretary dies and they show us the meeting with Megan, Pete et al in the background trying to get rid of the body was hilarious.
The streak of episodes when Don finds out that the Cali woman (forget her name) is dying and his whole alcoholism thing with losing that whole weekend because he was on a bender to him breaking down in front of Peggy was probably 2 or 3 of the best (they kinda blur together because I watched so many in a row) episodes so far.
Betty is a grade A ####. They really made her into a villain.
Elizabeth Moss (Peggy) has gotten hotter and hotter throughout the 5 seasons. Interesting too the way her character has evolved because she's become more confident along the way and that may be it. I'm not sure if she's actually more attractive or if it is just that her personality is now more appealing and that makes her better looking.
Having already seen half of season 5 I'm a little, what's the right word here, confused? at the the way that the agency was in dire straits at the end of season 4 but to my recollection season 5 starts and money is no longer an issue. Maybe I'm just not remembering properly because when I first saw season 5 I didn't know about the fact their agency was in trouble so I may have simply not picked up on things like that.
That's all for now until I finish Season 5.
