Farm Act 1 with decent MF gear. You will likely get better rolls on the items that do drop, you will die less and ultimately you will find enough gear (or gold) to upgrade enough for Act II..

i just want to reiterate... I crafted 30 gloves today before I left for hockey.. I Kept 7 of them to re-sell ... Well here are the results. This was the highest priced pair that sold... The lowest priced on to sale was 6.00... so lets just say I sold all of them for 6 bucks .. after fees I bank 4.45 or so... so roughly I made 23 bucks or so crafting 30 items. I could have sold for Gold and made 20-30 mil but hey, I wanted Diablo to buy me Lunch next week... HERE I COME QDOBA!
Edit: Since I wrote this I have since sold 2 more for 13 bucks .. so close to 40 bucks for crafting 30 gloves.. This is obviously not normal but even getting 10 bucks out of 30 is pretty lucrative.
