Sorry to say, but even the best gloves you can craft will be second tier compared to what the game can drop. That is a simple fact.

You did well to get onto the glove boat early, no question and it worked for you. Cool. I am glad. Even in your example above though, for ~4.7 million I can buy a fantastic pair of gloves. Those that you sold are history... prices change. Heck I used to get $5 cash almost instantly for a certain blue item I could buy for ~150K gold. Isn't happening any more.

And don't even get me started on weapons. Anyone crafting those (iLvl 62) needs to give their head a shake.
