I haven't seen too many disturbing things. But I did see a motorcyclist get hit by a semi on the yellowhead in Edmonton. A few cars ahead of me was a large cloud of dust, and then the motorcyclist just laying there motionless on the road. I was frozen. Other people were getting out of their cars to go and help, and I just couldn't do anything. I suppose one more person wouldn't have helped much, but I should have done something other than call 911. I never did read about it in the papers, so he must have lived.

I did see a dead motorcyclist on the road with a number of people around him just holding his head. He was still in the helmet, but it must have been a foregone conclusion. A senior citizen apparently turned left in front of him and he t-boned the car.

And for some stupid reason, I then bought a motorcycle a couple of years later.
