My exact impression as well. Maybe if there were commercials to hold the suspense in between scenes

If they had extended it to at least two hours, it would have helped a lot - maybe the DVD will have deleted scenes or directors cut or whatever 'cause it sure seemed like some of the buildup was missing - nevertheless, it was awesome TV. The new developments blow my mind, and the acting by pretty much everyone, especially Mary McDonnell and James Callis is surely deserving of some award. I can't believe I'll have to wait til October to see what happens next.
