We are always accepting applications for special foster families.

This weekend Alberta Bulldog Rescue has two incoming dogs. We currently have five in foster care with 3 of those looking for adoptive families (see posts above).

One of the incoming will also require immediate surgery, please consider a monetary donation to aid us with the medical bills.

Info on fostering from our website:

Quote:
Fostering a Dog provides a Bulldog in Need with a safe place to live while ABR works on finding them their forever family. We do not kennel our dogs, unless there is an extreme behavioural issue and that decision is based on safety otherwise all of ABR’s rescue dogs are placed in loving foster homes for the duration of their time in rescue.

Our Foster Homes:

- Provide loving, stable, and responsible care for our dogs.

- Assist with training such as socialization, house training, obedience and manners. Your efforts will help the foster dog become adoptable and successful in their forever home.

- Evaluating the dog to assist ABR in matching them to the perfect most suitable forever home.

- Ensure that any dogs or animals in their home already are safe and up to date on vaccinations.

- Attend functions and bulldog meet ups when possible.

- Receive ongoing support from our Board of Directors and key volunteers.

- ABR covers ALL vet costs (which are pre-arranged by ABR)

- Receive a Bully Pack full of bulldog supplies.

- If possible as a non profit we hope that our fosters can provide Bulldog Approved Food for the dog while in their care.

- Care for the foster dog in accordance to our foster agreement.
