From what I can tell the show was never really "promoted" in either manner. The Stampede issued few press releases basically "Garth Brooks to headline the 100th anniversary of the Stampede" and then tickets sold out immediately, so no real "advertising" was ever done.
The only thing I can find claiming a "full band" performance is from this
