Nothing of course and I even believe the neighbour said in the story that other people in the neighbourhood have outdoor rinks but they aren't as big.
Just so we're clear...she then has no problem with the regular sounds of an outdoor rink. It's the parties with his Oiler friends she is apparently concerned about
Oh and that she can see it BECAUSE SHE HASN'T PUT UP A FENCE!
Oh and in the picture there is a basketball hoop in the background. Seems the pad is already being used for other things. It'll never be a rink where I live but next summer we are pouring about a 30' x 40' pad in our backyard so the kids can play basketball or whatever. Beats playing on the street or a sloped driveway.
