No one has passed on Doan lately, 11 teams interested at last check. He has been waiting to figure out what the deal is with Jamison and is now apparently waiting to see if there's going to be some sort of referendum on the arena deal. If so that would take months, and there's no way he'll wait around, so probably next week he signs?

This however is nonsense. Detroit is the frontrunner. Calgary isn't even in the top 5. NYR and Montreal are strong possibilities.
