There's a departure lounge, complete with a check-in counter. A "jet-way" takes one into the expansive cabin of a DC-10 wide-body jet – a real one, its wings sawed off to fit the building. Two other aircraft – a narrow-body Boeing 727 and a small private jet – are housed in the same warehouse.
The seats are filled with mannequins playing the part of would-be travellers. Many are peppered with bullet holes, a testament to the reality of the training.
