I guess since it was asked.

I went to a chiropractor once. I had a kink in my neck that wasn't going away on it's own. Chiropractor said my spine was out of line (WTF). So he proceeded to crack my neck and back. Sure, felt okay, but my neck proceeded to get worse and worse thereafter. Went to physio, they suggested it was likely a spasm/cramp that never got better and I'd been compensating and the muscle was weak and always sore and cramping up. We did some exercises, stretches, etc over a few weeks and it's been gone for 10 years.

Also know someone that suffered a stroke in a Chiropractic chair after a neck manipulation. The Dr. (right ), called her son and explained symptoms and suggested he come pick her up. The son (not a Dr.) suggested he call 911 and get an ambulance. I'm not sure she's recovered fully and that was likely 5+ years ago.
