Just signed up for another half. Was going to sign up for two, but they're too close together, which spoils that plan. Edit, nevermind, confusing my months. Can do both.
So I'll get my:
3 Half's done (one extra)
1 or my 2 10 km's out of the way
Have yet to do any other races. We'll see what I can muster together by November.

Rocky Mountain Half and Harvest Half? Those are the two Fall ones to do.
The inaugural Millarville "Run To The Farmers' Market" Half was actually a big success. We had 296 registrations, including some higher-end talent.
Duncan Marsden of Calgary was the winner in 1:14:03 with Nathan Kendrick second in 1:18. Melissa Kendrick was the top woman in 1:21.
Great reviews from runners about the course and the unique, hand-made, clay-fired finishers medals by one of our Farmers' Market vendors.
The top five runners through the rest of the pack variously described the course as "challenging," "hilly," "strategic," "gorgeous," and "fun." In a post race survey, 98% of more than 100 respondents said they were "Very Satisfied" or "Satisfied" with the event and 100% said they would recommend it to a friend. We might double participation next year.
Some hiccups to work out that you would expect in any new event but we've got those surrounded already.

See you June 15, 2013 on Racetrack Road.
As far as I know, this might be the only point-to-point race in Alberta and one of maybe three or four in western Canada. They're more common in the USA and popular.
