This seems so....backwards, doesn't it? Usually when a player is traded for a conditional pick, the better the player who gets traded performs on his new team, the higher the pick becomes for the team who traded him. Here it's kind of the opposite: If Lowry is awesome and Raps keep making the playoffs, Houston gets nothing. So in a way, Colangelo is a genius if this works.
