There's risk for both sides, as is usually the case with trading protected lottery picks. From Houston's perspective, there's risk that the Raptors just miss the playoffs next year, and Houston loses an excellent player for the 14th pick in a weak draft. Right now the odds are much more in the Raptors' favour to win this trade... Houston needs a very specific set of circumstances to happen for this to turn into a really high pick.
