There's a guy in the city that sells cornelius kegs ($50) and CO2 cannisters (filled for $150 I think it was). I bought my regulator ($150) at the Vineyard on Fairmount Dr. and all the other equipment (carboys, fermenters) I've had for years. I use my stove and a massive pot for my wort, but it REEKS when I brew. Not to mention the smell in the fridge when I chill it.
I'm toying with the idea of making a full on set up in my garage.....but I'm afraid I might burn it down. Something like this
My output depends on how much my girlfriend puts up with my house smelling like a brewery.....but I'm making about 20 litres a week right now. I only have 3 kegs though, so I need to drain them within about 2 weeks of carbonating or I run out places to put all the beer.
