I don't know if I agree with you Dis, personally I am a big Culpepper fan, I absolutely love what he brings to the table. Take a look at the running game early in the season with Culpepper and you'll notice averages around or even below in some cases 1 yard per carry. Stuff like that isn't going to cut it on an NFL team.

That team all together was playing like absolute garbage until Brad Johnson got in there. Heck, their defense didn't start playing until he got in there.

I think it has a lot more to do with the fact that it was a badly run team with Mike Tice at the helm.

However, the news to me is pretty shocking. If he lands in Miami, it instantly boosts their chances and makes them real contenders. That was the real sore spot on that team with a pretty solid running game and Defense (although it is somewhat reduced with Williams probably on the outs with his suspension).

Oakland? They seem to try and add talent without actually trying to make a team. Maybe adding Culpepper and have him tossing passes to Moss with a good #2 guy in Porter would put up some good numbers (Collins is a pile), they'd probably win a couple more games, but afterall, they are the raiders.

I could see the Jets, but I beleive they have an interest in Brees, they'd contacted them about Rivers/Brees last season and wanted the other one.
