Well Owens could add something to that offence, but he's just such a damn head case. Theres no nice way to say this, but he's never had a black head coach in his days in the NFL. Perhaps a guy like Herm Edwards might get through to him and find a way to make him respect the team? Who knows really.
But the Chiefs offence struggled until week 9 last year. The turning point was that in week 9 the offensive line was fully healthy. After that the Chief offence moved the ball at will on pretty much everyone. So really how much more do you want to improve the offence? Than again Herm isn't Vermeil, and Al Saunders is no longer the offesive co-ordinator. Still the first thing I'd do is try to keep the offensive line in tact, or ensure that the right personell is in place there before I looked anywhere else. And of course I'd be fixing that defence before trying to improve offensive personell too.
