Some dog breeds clearly have different attributes from others. They were selectively bred by humans to display these attributes, and unfortunatley, some of those attributes make them them more dangerous than other breeds.
There are many breeds that have long become obsolete and they don't normally exist in nature. Do we really need dog breeds that exist for bull baiting and bear baiting in public areas? There would be nothing wrong with making these breeds disappear by selective breeding... afterall, that is the only reason why they exist to begin with. Bullmastiffs are a creation of man and never existed in the wild.
