Default Cop shooter granted bail today

Quote:
A 27-year-old man who was the subject of an intensive manhunt after the shooting of two Killam RCMP officers in February has been granted bail, and will be released from custody on Friday.

Sawyer Robison is charged with two counts of attempted murder and more than a dozen firearm-related offences in connection with the Feb. 8 shooting that wounded constables Sidney Gaudette and Sheldon Shah at a rural property southeast of Killam.

Robison was denied bail at a hearing in April, but was granted bail in a Wetaskiwin court on Wednesday evening, Alberta Justice has confirmed. His release order takes effect on Friday at 5 p.m.
