Pacioretty might be a good comparable. He has a November birthday, so he played a high school hockey until he was almost 18 and then spent a year in the USHL before getting drafted 22nd overall. He put up 63 pts in 60 games before heading to university so if Jankowski can put up that level of scoring he's probably on the right track.

I look at these stats of NHLers that went the USHL route and then wonder how the hell Gaudreau fell to the fourth round when he had 72 points in 60 games as a 17 year old in the USHL.
I know he was about the size of a hobbit but still you think people would have looked and that production and took a flyer earlier.
