Weird that they will have to have 2 kind of lame duck seasons without a playoff first.
Wish they had figured a way to have some bowl games decide the playoff participants. There already weren't enough out of conference games to fairly compare schools of different conferences. Now with the conferences getting bigger, everyone having championship games, there will probably be even less. Every year some conference's top teams get grossly over-rated until they're exposed by playing a tough out of conference game.
