Much like with CHL, I'd say point per game is a good benchmark. Even guys like Trevor Lewis and Aaron Palushaj put up that level of scoring in the USHL as 18 year olds.
Pacioretty might be a good comparable. He has a November birthday, so he played a high school hockey until he was almost 18 and then spent a year in the USHL before getting drafted 22nd overall. He put up 63 pts in 60 games before heading to university so if Jankowski can put up that level of scoring he's probably on the right track.
