well, I am more than happy to wait and see with Jankowski to see if he is able to translate his skills against higher quality competition.

While I don't disagree with what you are saying per se, the two extremes are not mutually exclusive. There were plenty of high upside guys available at either 14 or 21. It just so happened that Calgary really like Jankowski.

If he wasn't available, there's no reason to believe that Calgary would have selected a guy with a low ceiling vs a high risk, high reward player.
