If Jankowski was a different kind of player, then I would be more concerned about his future long-term potential, but precisely because he is a playmaker and has been noted as an exceptional puck distributor, this is a skill that is entirely dependant upon his linemates's abilities to convert his plays. In other words, his vision and his ability to anticipate plays and place the puck will not suddenly diminish at a higher level of competition; certainly not to the degree like what we witnesses in Chuck Kobasew and Ryan Howse: two goal scorers who struggled to convert quality plays at a higher level.
