It's funny how the whole thing with his dad has been a complete non-issue in Toronto. That couldn't have been media-created BS to deflect the heat off of La Russa at all, right? Well hard to fix a lot of things when the guy refuses help from the coach, manager and super stud player.
Why would they need to deflect heat off of a 3-time WS winner, 3rd all-time in wins and has shown that he can work with all sorts of players and teams?
This is the same father that called up radio stations in TO on his own to talk about he is not meddling and doesn't crave the media.
I mean I guess it is possible that the St. Louis media, players and management lied or it is possible that Rasmus' dad was too involved and decided to take a step back when he saw where it ended up getting his son.
