Those players can all still be list line centers and good hockey players. According to the draft boards, Button, the TSN Panel and the people who actually follow and watch these kids, he has the chance to be one of the top players in this entire draft class. I choose to listen to them when the say things like this, when they call him a project player with a high risk and high reward. Those players mentioned have a much higher probability of making an impact, and a strong one at that. This kid sounds like he has the potential to go above and beyond that.
Again, I'm going with what I've read. I know nothing about these players, and I assume neither do you.

I know now about as much as a fan can from reading various sources on the internet about them and not scouting them full time but you are certainly right I have never seen him or most guys outside of the WHL more than a handful of time on TV.
Just don't see Jankowski having more (doesn't mean he has less) upside/high reward than Gaunce, Maata, Tervanainen etc.
