If you're using it exclusively at desk, the laptop wins. But a tablet is less of an ergonomic nightmare that a laptop is in other scenarios, such as in bed, on a bus, or in economy class when flying. I still think there are better form factors for a laptop-tablet hybrid though (i.e. something where the hinge can support the screen).
