I have come across a 'lightly used' Scott Sportster 10 hybrid in my frame size:

The guy wants to sell it for $200 less than new price, I may be able to lower it slightly. Asking price is $1250.

Hey guys,
after almost a week of not riding still, I have reconsidered this offer and looking for advice.
The guy says the bike has very very minimal use since purchase, no scratches or wear. I will go look in person.
Very stiff about the $1250 price tag since he just bought it, didn't use much, and can't return it. 2 full years left of coverage from shop (maintenance and warranty), I am assuming pedalhead since they deal with Scott.
The frame size is my fit, the components are pretty premium, and the cost is fairly high for me but I am leaning towards testing and buying if happy. It would need to last as a commuter for a lot of years.
Any suggestions on things to consider?
