We had our place broken into just this Friday. They managed to get away with a lot of jewelry (but that's all they took). It's only stuff, but some of those things had been in our family for decades and were priceless.
I'm thinking of setting up a camera system that also sends video to a PC outside my home. That, or an alarm system.
