Being loveable can be great but we can see that the team this year doesn't have an edge.
Even back in 2009, they should have even beat that broken French team to qualify for the World Cup. They should have never lost the home leg, it never should have gotten to Henry's handball.

And your Croatia point/comparison ... what is it exactly? As I mentioned, soccer is about as big a sport in Ireland as it is in Canada. By your logic Canada should be world beaters too? Because ...... they've got more people than Croatia?
And re. how can they be this much worse than Spain in 10 years? It wouldn't just happen to be a case of Spain getting very good. Like a WC and EC good.
