I fell and got tossed around by some waves when I was very young and ever since I've had trouble in 'turbulent' water (fast moving rivers, lakes during bad weather, even wave pools when the waves get going). oh man, this breaks my heart.
I may not be a big swimmer, but I couldn't imagine not living by the ocean. It's so beautiful, and calm. When it's turbulent it's awesome.
There's NOTHING as relaxing as sitting back and watching the waves of the North Atlantic, nothing.
