I've been doing the food truck thing at lunch for a couple weeks and this is what I have tried so far:
The Crank chef - Very good beingiet, amazing. Also the chef really sint cranky but is just an old school french chef. The service was great and the prices were good for what you get. Try the roast beef and the gnocci for sure. 7/10
Fries and Dolls - Good operation, really good fries. The sweet potato with cajun is meh, you cant really taste the spice. The garlic and parmasean were really strong with garlic so I wouldnt do this truck on a date. But the service was great and the organization kept fries coming out quick. 7/10
Los Compadres - What can I say about this truck other than authentic street tacos. A little pricy for 3 tacos ($10) and the wait time is loooong but it is well worth the wait if you have time. Eat them right there for the tacos to taste the best. 8/10
Shogun - Meh, tariyaki chicken. Not spectacular or anything really that different but not terrible. 5/10
Holy Crepe - Ingredients are very good, the only problem is eating one of these crepes on the street without ending up with chipoltle aeoili all over yourself as they leak a lot. Looks like a father and son business. 6/10
The Happy Truck - Always something different on the menu, from south asian to north american. Small truck. Definatly something where you have to check out the menu daily. The samosas are almost always on the menu though, very good but a little greasy. The mango and hot sauce here is probably the highlight for myself. 7/10
That's it so far, haven't tried perogy boyz since they never seem to be downtown.
