At 23 years old he is also poised to win several championships. Considering the Thunder are keeping their coach for the future, have 2 superstars that have completely bought into the team, and are the 2nd youngest team in the league, they have a pretty good chance to contend for another 10-12 years.

If Durant becomes the all time leader in points, with 5+ championships to boot, in the modern NBA, he could surpass Jordan, statistically atleast.
I think Durant can certainly end up close to the top 3, but how hard is it to displace Bird, Magic and Jordan? And thats assuming you leave out guys like Kareem, Wilt, the Big O, Tim Duncan and Kobe. I can see Durant ending up ahead of Kobe for sure, but obviously it will depend on how long OKC can keep their core together. With Harden and Ibaka both being RFAs next summer, they can't keep both without going into the luxury tax, so if I was KD I'd be trying my damndest to cash in this year and next.
