He cites studies that say consumption of ecstasy by adults in its pure form and in controlled doses is relatively safe and non-addictive.
He also compares it to the prohibition of alcohol in the 1920s when there was a rash of deaths due to bootlegged alcohol being cut with dangerous chemicals by gangs. Would legalizing it save lives and money?
I tried it once and think I had a bunk hit because I barely felt anything. I have been afraid to do it since then though because of fact that it seems like there is a chance you can die from the street versions.
