I have to ask this... Where is your compassion for the elderly, more vulnerable to abuse, members of our society? When did we become so hard hearted? Why do so many cp members have this attitude? They aren't asking for steak 3 times a week and lobster on Sundays.... just decent quality, fresh food thats tasty, instead of pre-packaged frozen food 7 times a week, 365 days a year.

Thats cause this is a welfare system, is it not? (gov't sponsored social programs) The only responsibility of the gov't is to provide enough healthy food to survive, not to provide "tasty" food.
I think I read somewhere that food I had in univ res was worse then what prisoners get, including nutritional value. I would venture a guess that if there a 13 minute documentary on how poorly univ res students are fed, all we'd hear is how entitled kids are these days.
