I've heard some people say they ate baby food after jaw surgery. I'm not sure if it would be liquid enough for a completely immobile broken jaw, but at least would be available in various varieties. From tasting bits of my kid's food when they were babies the store-bought stuff is often pretty bland, but it's pretty easy to find recipes for home-made blended food for babies.
