I changed my diet a few months ago because I was tired of feeling tired, unenergetic and fat even though I trained a lot. It has completely opened my eyes to what I was doing to myself.
I was eating fast food about 5-8 times a week. At least once a day was fast food, either lunch or dinner. On Monday, I went to McDonald's because the kids asked for it. I reluctantly took them. I hadn't ate McDonald's for about 2 months at least or really any fast food, except for 5 Guys which I love. I had a big Mac combo (was my fav) and could hardly eat it. It tasted so gross and the pop I couldn't even drink half because it tasted so damn sweet. The fries were great though. When I got home I had a bad stomach ache to go to the bathroom right away, and then twice more that evening. Needless to say, I guess my body has been cleansed and is now rejecting crap food. I guess that's a good thing. So no more McDonald's for me except for the odd fries here and there.
