No, sometimes I have even given typed or written orders even where I have even made copies of them.
The times I don't prewrite them, I do know what I order. It's different when it's *YOUR OWN FOOD* you KNOW what you are ordering. If I am in doubt, I may ask the server "Did I say no pickles" for example. Most of the times, they said yes.
