It made sense to prop up those teams during the dark times because there was light at the end of the tunnel, not so much in Phoenix.

Yeah i know all that, but the bottom line is that both markets were in peril of leaving at one point, regardless of how much "love" the cities had.
My point being it doesnt/shouldnt matter to anyone what the league is doing with this franchise unless you live in a city that may be the beneficiary of the move.
Im all about this thing getting resolved one way or the other as well, but it just doesnt matter which way that ends up being.
