Honestly I can't stand 3D. I put up with it at the theatre because I have no other choice but it's something I would love to see go away. I find it extremely straining on my eyes and it doesn't really add anything to the experience. It's also very annoying wearing a set of 3D glasses over my regular glasses. To me, if you want realism/immersion, you want 3D. I wear glasses to, but I can switch to contacts for 3D gaming. 3D gaming is different from 3D movies, in part because you can adjust the seperation (if that's what causing your eyestrain).
