As I said, maybe fees outside Quebec wouldn't be so high if the kids there stood up for themselves when their tuition was hiked. Quebecers seem to realize that they aren't going to simply go through with the planned hikes - they'll keep increasing tuition as long as the students there put up with it.

You just have to willingly give up half a year of school which cost about 10k including living expenses and give up 1 prime income earning years (100k) in order for you to save $1500 over the next 3 years if you are in first year. If you are in third year your savings are $250.
If its me i am happy the government pays or gives me tax credits for 75% of the tuition costs and keep my 110k.
