BTW, for anybody reading a whole lot into these poll results, there's a strong selection bias in the results for sure. Other than the politically active and motivated, I would suggest that most people who are uncomfortable with the idea of SSM probably don't even enter the thread and of those that do, the overwhelming support for the idea of SSM among the more active posters could very well dissuade someone from voting in the poll with a contrary viewpoint. As much as the poll is 'anonymous' this is at least a somewhat closed community that could make people more reticent to share views where it may come back on them.
