I admire people that play Hardcore, but I don't know if I could play like that. I don't have time to sit and play and suddenly have a dozen or 2 hours of work flushed down the toilet for whatever reason. I guess if you play a lot more cautious, repeated some of the easier runs to make sure you had gear and levels for the harder stuff and are not worried about quitting a game if you come up against an elite that will rip you apart, it wouldn't be too bad.
How does AH work for hardcore? I assume it is totally seperate? The stash still works, but items can only be used by hardcore or regular characters, rgiht?

I actually have no idea how AH works in hardcore, haven’t tried it in normal yet. I was thinking about this, if for some fluke reason it is the same AH, you could trade gear between hardcore and normal, and that would be a huge advantage.
I switch to Hardcore in D2 and found I couldn’t actually go back to normal because it seemed pointless (after years of playing the same old game, normal seemed boring and hardcore made it exciting again by adding a huge new threat). Since D3 is new, I think normal mode will be fun for years still, but I still have to play hardcore off and on because of the nerd thrill.
Has anyone heard about Barb limitations in the later difficulties? I am just wondering if I should quit my hardcore barb now and switch to a more conservative character.
Which character do you find is the easiest to stay alive? With the barb, that vengeance keeps me alive pretty good.
