Considering abortion has nothing to do with being desperate. I live in an area that has more teen pregnancies per capita than anywhere else in the province. Most of the girls I talk to have considered abortion, they aren't desperate, they freely admit it they aren't. They only consider it because it's there and it's legal. The ones who have had an abortion say that it's a hard decision to make, but because it's acceptable and legal, it's jsut another tough decision, if it were illegal, there is no way they would do it. Like I said, there is a ton of that going on here, research is easy to get, and it isn't second hand information I'm getting. There are exceptions to every rule of course, but there would not be jsut as many abortions if it were illegal.
