Well, if anyone has been watching NBA basketball for any extended period of time, they'll tell you most games are horribly officiated, and they mostly are. So it needs to be astronomically bad to have an outcome on the game. Last night wasn't even that bad, mostly because the Pacers were so soft last night, taking jump shot after jump shot, despite having a massive size advantage. If they don't pound it inside for game 6 this series is over.
Of course the real NBA Finals is the Western Conference finals, so it doesn't particularly matter who comes out of the East, they just get the honour of getting worked by the Spurs or Thunder. I actually think the Pacers would have the best chance against either because of their depth, but Miami or Boston would both lose in 5 to either Western Conference champ.
