Balancing health and dmg is sure key though, but hell is already significantly harder and I imagine I need to get up to 20,000 health sooner rather than later.

Besides buying your gems, buy gear too, there is soooo much cheap rares that will help you alot in nightmare if you need it, especially late acts.. Sell all your yellows, just do a bit of research on similar items and make easy gold, I found underselling gets it sold fast and is way better than selling it to a vendor or disenchanting it.

What did you use for skills? I'm playing a WD as well but I haven't found a comfortable set of skills to stick with so far. I'm back and forth between spiders/blow darts and my dogs seem to die too quickly
